Where Did Your Faith Go Quiet?

You love God. You always have. But somewhere along the way, the connection started slipping.

Your prayers got shorter. Not because you stopped believing, but because the words stopped coming the way they used to. You sit down to pray and your mind is already on the next thing.

Your Bible is under a pile you keep meaning to sort through. You say you believe, but saying it and feeling it stopped being the same thing somewhere along the way.

You’re wrestling with your purpose. You’re not sure what God has for your life anymore, and you’re tired of trying to figure it out alone. You’re holding it together for everyone else, but nobody’s holding it together for you.

Some of the pulling back started at church. You went there to feel safe practicing your faith, and instead someone used Scripture against you. The place that was supposed to be healing became the place that hurt. Now you’re cautious, and you wonder if anyone in the church actually sees you.

And somewhere in the middle of it all, your faith went quiet. You can’t feel God the way you used to. Prayers that used to pour out of you now sit stuck in your throat. You’re not angry at Him exactly, but you can’t seem to reach Him either, and you’re not sure when that distance started.

You feel lost. Misunderstood by the people around you and, some days, misunderstood by Him too. Nobody in your life seems to get what you’re carrying, and the One who always did feels far away.

You Can’t Feel Where He Went

That’s where the loneliness really sets in. Not just alone among people, but alone with God too. No one to talk to down here and no clear line up there.

It’s a kind of isolation that’s hard to explain to anyone who hasn’t lived it. You’re not losing your faith. You just can’t find it right now, and you don’t know how to get back to the place where it felt real.

And then there’s the weight nobody talks about. Being the strong one. The one who holds everyone else up and never gets to fall apart.

The tension between what your faith teaches and what your culture expects of you. Exhaustion from constantly proving your worth to people who should already see it. You’re tired. Not just in your body, but in your spirit.

Bring God Into Each Week

Saying out loud where your faith sits takes more nerve than keeping the routine going. You can say it in the language you pray in.

We’ll start with what you’re facing right now, in plain words. Then we bring God into that situation, while it’s still in front of you.

Some weeks, that means opening Scripture and reading it against the exact situation you brought in. Other weeks, it means praying out loud together, because that’s what you need before you can say any of it.
